Sales Executive

Ottawa - Hunt Club Rd.




Lowe-Martin is currently seeking Sales Executives based in Ottawa, Canada to be responsible for winning profitable work while maintaining a satisfied client base. The Sales Executive will be responsible for growing an existing customer base, as well as actively pursuing new opportunities.  Tasking also include:

  • Make telephone calls, in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers Identify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry
  • Research and analyze sales options and new opportunities as well as recommending profit and service improvements by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors
  • Sell products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; identifying business problems and recommending solutions
  • Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance
  • Works with existing clients to recommend products and services  that give the company a competitive advantage in the market place
  • Maintain professional and  technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
  • Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers
  • Plans and organizes personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Time Investment
  • Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services



  • Completion of High School diploma or equivalent
  • Post secondary Print/Graphic Communications Management Course or business related degree is a strong asset
  • Minimum three years working in a similar Account Management/Customer Service type role and environment
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret Level Clearance with the Government of Canada
  • Strong knowledge of customer service principles and experience providing awesome customer service including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
  • Print knowledge is an asset: web, sheetfed and digital printing, direct mail, variable printing, warehousing and distribution



  • Ability to provide creative solutions for customers (consultative sales approach)
  • Must be results-oriented, dedicated, motivated and persistent
  • Passionate about providing Awesome Customer Service
  • Able to work both independently and within a team environment
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications and contact management software
  • Internally motivated and success driven
  • A positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and apply new skills
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle
